What operating system do you have? If you have Win95, which version; A B or C?

Usually people want to do just the opposite. May I ask why you want to merge them? All the pros and cons are on the side of multiple partitions, but if you must merge them, the only way to do so without re-formatting, is to use a commercial program that does the same thing as FDISK, but preserves all your data and programs on the drive without having to erase them.

The Capt is right.... the proggy he is describing is Partition Magic or similar, there are free ones out there as well. In fact there was a thread just a few days ago that had a link to a free partition tool, if I find it, I'll post it.

fdisk is destructive, so you need backup and repartition

Partition magic is expensive, considering the few things it does.

So here is Partition resizer: Free

get it here: http://members.nbci.com/Zeleps/
