I have an old Pent/Celeron mobo I think it was originally a gateway. The revision number on the mobo is E139761. Some other numbers on the board near the battery: ISEA10909045 AA A19243-406
Everything starts up, i.e. harddrive, cpu, cd, floppy, cpu fan...EXCEPT that I don't have any video!
I can't see anything but a dark monitor. I have tried using the on-board video, an AGP video card, a PCI video card, but still NOTHING!
HELP!!!
You can email me or post any suggestions.
Thanks.

Is the monitor turned on? Have you went into the BIOS setup at all? If so, is there an option in there that says something about "First graphic display" or something similar and have you set it accordingly?

normally bad video will give you errors and won't let you boot - you're saying the machine starts up and sounds like it's going through the entire routine and loading whatever OS you're running??
I'm assuming you never see anything on the screen and if that's the case make sure you have good power to the monitor and a good cable connection (try the monitor on another computer)
it's hard to check bios setup if you can't see anything?! but start there with trying to use the onboard, then make sure you use the right mobo video connector (check your pins on both sides of the connection)- couldn't tell if it's hard wired on the mobo, or if it's one of those that have video connector on the mobo that uses a ribbon cable and a separate vga connector that's installed in a slot in the back.
If you've installed another card, some boards will automatically disable the onboard, some need you to manually disable it in bios
good luck

Monitor definitely works, since I'm reading these posts! ;)
The onboard is a good question, since I can't tell if it's working, but on the other hand, I tried both an AGP and a PCI video card on the board and neither works.
It sounds like the machine is checking the entire system, but without video, I don't know exactly what it's doing.
Anyone have a mobo like this?
Thanks again.
