I just bought a new DVD player, but I don't have the A/V jacks on the back of my T.V.
Is there a way I can run it through my vcr,or am I pretty much SOL
The manual says that you can't , but I was hoping that they might have put that in there to keep people from copying the movies.

Some vcrs will let the video signal pass through without enabling the macrovision copy protection, so can't hurt to try. You could also try a modulator (http://www.radioshack.com/category.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F002%5F002%5F012%5F000&Page=1) (RadioShack sell them-not too expensive). http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Awesome, thanks canit. wasn't sure if anyone else had run into this problem.
It certainly would be better than buying a new tv just for that.

Thanks again
