And still I have a problem with movies:
If I (Using WMP 6.4) switch any film to fullscreen I get no any moves or sounds at all until BSOD. No any film isn working yet.
I used WinXP then moved to Win98SE (I had such reasons) for two weeks, and then again made a fresh install (via format C:) of WinXP - all drivers and programs were manually set up (as always). But those mivies were good two months ago until nowadays.

If someone needs specs:
a) Soft (related to video):
WinXP
Detonators 29.20
DivX bundled PRO 5.0
WMP 6.4 & 7.1 (BTW, some films don't even want to load in WMP
7.1 - only sound and no video)

b) Hard: PIII Coppermine 800@1.0GHz (166MHz FSB);
i815EPT (MSI MS-6337 ver.5);
2x256MB PC-133 RAM PQI;
Abit GF2MX400 64SDR @ 210/205MHz - latest drivers;
SB Live! 5.1 PCI - latest drivers;
Seagate 60GB Barracuda IV 7200RpM;
TEAC 40x CD-ROM (HW version 1.0B);
TEAC 16x/10x/40x CD-RW (HW sersion 1.0H - flashed successfully now WinXP recognizes it as CD-RW and other stuff);
Mitsumi 3.5" FDD;

Please help me someone solving this problem. Resizing movie is god, those BSOD's are only when I go to the fullscreen.

May I suggest trying to go back to stock speed ?

ND's right. I have also heard of vid card O'clocks causeing this aswell! And you have bumped up the agp through the fsb so there maybe your prob. Also if you have the vid. mem and core O'clocked it can also cause this.:(

Also, I would suggest using a software DVD player like WinDVD 4, etc. instead of just Divx and WMP...

Yes, I tried going to the standart frequencies of my BUS. Didn't help. By the way, I had my PV OC'ed before too, and those movies were runnung pretty well...
And, yes, I have an OC'ed card using RivaTuner backgroung OC'er. I'll try to go to the previous state (standard frequencies og my GPU, and will tell if that worked.

And, what else except WMP 6.4 or 7.1 can you recommend?

Almost every mediaplayer out there uses same system codecs, so I guess it doesn't make much difference going from one to another.
As for your problem : I just ran in (almost) same one few hours ago when I tried new reference v29.42 from nVIDIA's site - I wasn't able to full-screen few of my movies (AVI (DiVX) and MPG), no BSOD but it simply wouldn't go full-screen, was stopping instead while sound was still good and going ! :confused: :confused:
Going back to v28.32 solved the problem.

It's either the DirectX 9 beta i installed, or the 29.42 I installed at the same time. :( Either way, it's not clock-related, that's for sure...
Use a DVD player to play your DivX's, gives better sound configuration options... :)

Cheers

I tried using my GPU at the standard frequencies, and no help.

Tried Detonators 23.11 instead or 29.20 - and the problem solved !!!
The problem was in those drivers I use.
I have such drivers on my HDD: 31.83, 23.11, 28.32, 29.11, 29.20.
Which driver should I use? Or maybe DL another one?

BTW, my films froze too, for a minute, and then I goto BSOD. before I installed older drivers...

Glad to see your problem solved.
As for drivers, v28.32 work fine for me as I already said ...
v23.11 once ruined my WinXP setup completely, you can find the full story in "Videocards" section :(
