I need the pinouts of the FPI connector on the motherboard as my switches don't function when I hook it up.I understand the HD_LED_P is the positive terminal of the hardrive led indicator and the HD_LED_N is the negative. But I am not sure where to connect the reset switch and power switch. I am guessing the RST_SW_N and RSWT_SW_P are the two reset switch connectors but they don't seem to work properly. Please help me!:(
Besides this problem My old Hardrives are not bootable. I am running Windows 2000 Professional and evertime I try to boot to it I get a INACCESABLE_BOOT_DEVICE error message. Are my drives toast?
If my drives are unreadable can anyone tell me the debug codes to re initialize my hardrives so no partitions are defined?

This is how mine is. The power side is on top when mobo is in the case. It will harm nothing if connected wrong, it just wont work. Just turn the connector around. The power led is 2 pin (2-4) , you'll need to move the wires in your case connector if you have a 3 wire connector. Nothing connects to P9-x .

Regarding the old HDDs, if that Windows 2K was installed on a different mass storage controller (read: different chipset), then it doesn't have the SiS IDE drivers installed, hence, when initial kernel load through BIOS has finished and W2K tries to take over using its own drivers, can't find its boot device anymore. Nothing damaged, just a missing failsafe Plan B in W2K boot process. Complaints to Microsoft please.

I found that out after much research and head banging. I fibnally installed Windows 2000 again right over the old copy and except for the programs that make changes to the windows dll use and registry settings I am good to go. Thanks for the help anyway.
P.S. I love this mobo. Gawd is it alot faster than my old 500Mhz PIII!!!
