Ok, i just started noticing this recently. Whenever i hit the CTRL key in Internet Explorer, My computer, windows explorer, Word, i think any program i'm in, a grey circle with no fill starts big and then goes small and disappears. Anyone know what this is???

It's a function of your mouse drivers. It's locating your mouse pointer for you. I believe the effect can be disabled somewhere in the mouse setup properties. Look in Control Panel.

hey..my logitech mouseman+ has that in it's properties...
to shut it off..go to:
1)Control Panel
2)Mouse
3)Pointer Options (tab)
4) it's on the bottom and says "show location of pointer when you press the CTRL key"
you're welcome
