Hi Folks,
Can someone please give me a quick answer thanks.
3com Lan 56k modem, started makiing a clicking noise when trying to connect to internet and an error messege, no dialtone is received.
I think the modem is F**KED, but I wanted to see what some of you thought before I tell my friend this.

sounds like new modem time to me.

I just replaced 2 due to lightning damage. same problem. no dial tone.
