hi all, i have recently knocked a chip out of my CPU - meaning i was unable to play DVD's properly. i have just gotten a replacment CPU and all works well exceot for DVD playback - which displays a black screen for about 5 seconds and then causes the PC to reboot.

i have tried old and new versions of the Via 4 in 1 drivers as well as playing in the BIOS to no avail.

I can find no alternative drivers for the DVD ROM itself anywhere.

I am absolutlye gagging to watch Terminator 2 Special edition Again too:(

Can anyone PLEAAAAAASE help??
