I have a TNT Model 64 PCI.

Granted its not one of the better cards of the newage market, but I don't really have the budget to go out and buy a GeForce 4 Ti.

Is there anything special I can do with this that could possibly help it's performance? I haven't done any special tweaking to it, and I have the software version 4.0 is what my display dialogue tells me.

Anything to bring some life back to a close-to-dead card?

you could always try overclocking, it is risky but every MHz helps. Coolbits registry hack brings the overclocking part out of nVidia's drivers.

It doesn't really matter if you have the latest and greatest video card or one that's a bit more modest, I'll try to overclock the card anyway I can. Like smelanson said, "...every MHz helps."

You can download and read up on the Coolbits registry hack using Nvidia reference drivers. Click here (http://www.overclockers.com.au/techstuff/a_coolbits/).

TNTClk is another good utility to overclock. There are so many good ones out there, but I like the elegance and simplicity of Coolbits. G'luck! :t
