will the new Beta CPUIdle work on my Duron CPU? I heard that the previous version did not. If not, is there a program similar that i can use to keep my cpu cool. i have an Asus A7V with the modified 1003 bios.

If you're talking about 1003e2 when you say modified BIOS, you already have cpu cooling. Just make sure PCI Master Read Caching is enabled. This option can not be enabled with durons in BIOS 1004 and later.
