I just installed the new Mozilla browser from a CNET link and am trying it out now. So far, no problems and it is fast with no hangups. It does have a slight Netscape flavor but loads much faster. You have the option to allow preloading of basic components at startup, but I am not sure how IE would react since it claims "eminent domain" for browsing setup at startup. I am interested to see what other reactions are to Mozilla. Approval rating is at 87% so far.

Perhaps it is that Netscape has a slight Mozilla flavoring to it since Netscape is currently built off of Mozilla. Of course any browser that's cross platform is a good browser.

Running it on my Linux machine. Works great, no problems yet.

I must say, Opera is still my favorite cross platform browser. Faster load times on my older P3-600 for sure. Using Netscrape on this box occasionally but Konqueror for daily browsing and Opera for extra features.

I use Mozilla, Netscape 3 - 7 (testing purposes), Opera, IE.

Opera is far and away my favorite. The big advantages are speed and being able to open up all the windows from a previous browse session or a static set.

After that it's a toss up between Netscape 7 and Mozilla 1. They appear virtually identical to me. I don't like the fact that in order to startup quickly they must use approximately 7MB a piece. That seems a steep price for saving 10 seconds.

Finally, IE, a must have for some sites but no tabs or windows.
