There there now..Take it easy.

If you have more than 150 posts, you may also specify your own custom avatar.

There are a bunch of new standard avatars for anyone. "Special" people like gibsinep can roll their own. ;)

BipolarBill

Steve added the pre-made avatars when he introduced the new smilies. You could call it "ugrading the featureset". SysOpt is very "scalable". Don't you just hate "buzzwords"?

Out of passing interest does any one admit writing that HTML form

'use custom Avater' - ie Who designed the Sysopt Front end.

It's really rather good. Custom l presume. Possibly written in house.:) :)

Thanks. I thought the Quake character with the super shotgun was a little too intimidating. I'll save that AV for troublesome members, I think.

On second thoughts maybe there's something in these avatars after all. Maybe it puts a face to whom yer talking to. In which case earning one with 150 trillion posts keeps a blank face on regular contributors. I do agree, however, that this forum shouldn't count toward legitimate posts as the whole point of having a technical PC link would be lost. Or maybe I've just swilled too much wine tonight !!!!!!!!!!!!)-| )-| )-|

I think avartars are good, except when people use discarded ones. I can't remember who is using Bipolarbill's old one, but it damned confusing, I keep think he has answered a question.......
