Just ran this benchmark and came out with a wimpy little 8501!
I've got:
P4 2.53
512MB PC1066 RAM
Asus P4T533-C mother
Gainward Ti4600
and a Seagate Ultra 160 SCSI to boot!
What gives?????????
I did notice that I didn't run the Pro version tests that you get only if you buy the benchmark software so could that be it?
I hope it is........I didn't think I was that bad at setting up hardware!
Thanks, Fritz44

You have the P4 2.53 and PC 1066 RDRAM. :D Cool :)
What drivers are you using?
I get 12099 with my P4 2.2@2650 with my TI 4400 @ 300/650.
Using the Nvidia Win2000/XP 28.32 Dirvers.

28.32
All the latest BIOS updates on my video and motherboard.
Are you using XP? If so, have you tweaked the Services that run in the background at all?
Help! My score is miserable! If I don't justify the money I spent with a good 3DMark score, my wife will castrate me!
Also, my system tray has only one icon in it for removable storage.
Would having a second monitor attached in extended desktop mode have any negative affects?
OK, just ran it again....the Pro version this time and got 8507 - still miserable for this system. I did notice that below the score there was a blurb saying "The benchmark was not run using default settings". I guess that could be it but how do I find out what the default settings are?
Another issue - the Nvidia refresh rate utility.....has anyone gotten it to run witha new Ge4 card? I downloaded it yesterday to try to break the refresh rate issue on XP and I downloaded the updated cards from within the utility, but it still said that it couldn't find information on my refresh rates.
I suppose the WinXP/NVidia refresh rate issue could have a negative affect on the test, could it not?
Thanks, Fritz
