Can anyone tell me if this soundcard can play and record at the same time?? For instance, I'm listening to the net radio and decide I want to record what's playing...can I??

Actually, you can do that with any sound card that has an input jack, which most sound cards do... Just get a 1/8' audio cable that has two male ends and connect the speaker out to the line-in and it will record whatever is played over the speaker. But keep in mind that it will record EVERYTHING that is played over the speaker, even your mouse click sounds on IE or sound effects that are played from the Windows Sound Scheme....

This is how I capture MPEG and AVI files with sound over the net by using SnagIt32 Capture program. I just plug one end of the cable to the "Speaker Out" and the other end to the "Line-In"

Note: Make sure to eneable your "Line-In" option through "Recording Properies" on your Windows Volume Control......

If you got the SBL recorder installed, there is an option to "record what u hear"

I just got a new Dell last week and have several audio apps, but I didn't know SBL had it's own app, too? I'll have to do some diggin around tonight. Thanks folks.
