Hi there,

I'm searching for the complete course book that I can get in hardware. Do you have any title to suggest?

Thanks for your help

I like the following books:

Mark Minasi, Complete guide to Repairing and Upgrading
Scott Mueller, Repairing and Upgrading Computers,
Stephen Bigelow, Upgrading and Repairing Computers.
Peter Norton, Inside the Computer.
They are very good writers and competent in their field. Unfortunately, even Bigelow and Mueller do not cover the most recent advance in computer technology. I always supplement their info with www.pcguide.com and sysopt.com main menu. Hope it helps.

Of the books that Antonio mentioned, my favorite is Scott Mueller's. My second vote goes to Mark Minasi's.

That's amazing! We all have the same books! We obviously share excellent taste http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Minasi is particularly great when repairing older computers.

I'd also add:
Barry Press, PC Upgrade & Repair Bible.
Hans-Peter Messmer, Indispensable Hardware Book.
(though the latter is not exactly easy reading http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif )

As Antonio said, to keep abreast of latest developments I supplement my reading with websites and magazines.

Yep, I too have Mueller's Book, excellent guide, the title is somewhat misleading as it doesn't the volume of information in that book justice.

For ~some~ of the newer technologies, check out Tom's Book (you know, from Tom's hardware guide)

For the very latest (past 3-6 months), I just use the web
