OuTpaTienT 01-16-2001, 05:40 AM just type COMMAND in the run box and that'll open a DOS window. Then type whatever it is you're trying to run in that window. if it's giving you more than one screen of info and you need to have it pause when the screen fills up then just try adding |MORE to the end of your command line. Wiruz 01-16-2001, 05:41 AM ...I'm not sure i understood the question, but I'll try... If you want to run a dos command in windows, then it will be easier if you open a shell first (start>run> type "command") then run the command again, but try typing /? as a flag, that mostly brings up other comamnds you can use. ~Wiruz, The Digital Hippie socalgal 01-16-2001, 07:24 AM cmd to open shell for NT4/5. crockett 01-16-2001, 11:18 AM ok command worked...one thing though...I'm on a cable modem I turned everything off except the modem(ie meaning I was online but just at desktop) and have 3 listings with local host which is me, but after each one was "foreign address" which had 3 IPs which were not mine, they all said "TIME_WAIT" for state. Is this just what is needed to be online? on could 1 or 2 of them be possible Trojans? they are port 80 if that means anything SysOpt.com
