It will load with a couple of errors, saying it can't find system.ini, etc. Tell it ok on each of these and it will end up with the W2K Msconfig utility, allowing you to control startup items, etc. aw jad1097 01-15-2001, 07:25 AM There is no MSCONFIG in Windows 2000. I disabled the services I did not need at startup (be carful doing this), deleted the things I did not need in the start folder and there is a reg hack to get rids of programs starting up. Here are (http://win2000tips.home.att.net/Tipstricks.htm#Msconfig.%20%20How%20do%20I%20remov e%20stuff%20from%20my%20startup?) a couple programs that will do what you want.
