Hi I have 2 Laptops here running Win98 se..

One of these is fitted with a PCMCIA CD Rom..

When I initially Installed the Card and the Drivers I was able to access it via "my Computer" as a Drive Letter..

When I restarted the PC I was unable to find a Drive letter for the drive...

I also have this Problem when Trying to install my PCMCIA Flash Card adapter..

Any Ideas Please..

on a Similar note...

I have a 32bit Network card that Will Not work on one of the Laptops i.e. the PC does NOT recognise it.. although on the other it works perfectly...

I wish to use one as a Network PC as it's Spec is pretty Low..

Regards..

Rob..

Hi..

First Laptop is a Dell Latitude XPi 80Meg Processor
Second Toshiba Satellite 450 Meg Processor 64 Meg Ram

Both Machines run Windows 98se

Both Machines Report 32Bit Enabled for PCMCIA Port...

My Primary Concern is with regards to the Inability to Utilise the IO Magic PCMCIA CD Rom and my PCMCIA Compact Flash Adapter..

My problem seems to lie in the Fact that Once these Items are installed I cannot Obtain a Drive Letter with either Item..

I have an 8meg Compact Flash Card that I know Works..

Your Help to Rectify the Lack of Drive Letter would be warmly received..
