Hi!

I have a Web Site up and running, built with Frontpage 2000.

Browser options were set to IE and Netscape compatability during build, and it works fine in IE 4/5.5/6, and also well in Netscape Communicator 4.73 (after the usual font spacing issues!).

Navigation between pages is by standard Frontpage hover button activated hyperlinks, nothing exotic.

However, in Netscape 6.2 the second page (the first with buttons), either loads with no buttons visible (without Java Plug-In) or locks up "not responding" before displaying any of the page (with Java Plug-In)...............

Any ideas anyone???

Dave

Hi.
I heard that the hover buttons in Frontpage were specifically coded to crash Netscape. Never experienced it myself, and seems unlikely but then again :D
I would stay away from the applets anyway. Get a pre-cache script from javascript.internet.com and rollover image script from the same place. Works far better and is much more universal :D
