The problem is, VIA has always made unstable chipsets with compatability problems. I know about these problems first hand, as I fix them for a living. Intel is doing users a huge diservice by not offering the newer features other manufacturers have. If I wanted to pair DDR SDRAM with the P4 right now, my only choice would be SiS. But with performace board manufacturers offering garunteed compatability with PC1066 on their latest i850 boards, I have no reason to use DDR on the P4 at this time.:p
