2. In my programs dropdown menu there are too many programs to be viewed on my screes. How do I adjust the viewing to see all programs at once?

Right click on the START button and select "Open" and just delete the program group folder you wish to remove..

Press START and then go to the Taskbar Settings and then select "Show small icons on start menu", that will decrease the size of the menu and you will be able to see more of the program list on the screen.

1) Right click on an empty area on the Taskbar, Properties>Start Menu Programs>Remove
2)Re-organizing your programs into subfolders is the most efficient way to deal with an oversized start menu, but if you want your Start Menu to display two columns instead of one long one that scrolls off your screen, OuTpaTienT has the answer in this thread (http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/Forum1/HTML/009049.html)

if NDC's suggestion for deleting programs
doesnt COMPLETELY work, try this: go to
start, find, enter the program name, and
search. youll probably find most programs
create MANY files. Then go to edit, select all,
file [the file on the taskbar next to edit], delete. That gets rid of ALL the
files a program created.
