I got these from a bank not to far from where I live. The bank was upgrading and they were just going to throw these out, so I told them I'd take it of their hands. I have 13 of these, all of them came with win95 and MS Office preinstalled. I'm asking $110 shipped.

I did have to pay for the wiping out of the data that was in the computers, so it wasn't exactly free. But yea I like the American way of business.:)

Would you consider taking 50 dollars each plus shipping for a couple?

Sorry, but the answer is no, I think that the price that I'm selling it for is a pretty good deal.

You may want to use the PM system next time instead of broadcasting your personal details.

yup America is the land of opportunity and he was fortunate enough to transport all 15 boxes home, prolly take the time to check them out to make sure none were duds, and then offer them to our community with OS and software intact for $110 including shipping.
So personally I don't think mis-directed sarcasm is in order at all but rather a thank you because somebody out there may be stumbling through the dark on an old 486 with an old 9600 baud rate modem and that deal is great for them.

They don't come with agp slots, it onboard video. Its a desktop, if you click on the link above you should get a picture of the machine.

Don't knowwhat they are complaining about there...as if they wouldn't? It a righteous way to make a few dollars.

What models are they of the HP Small 20:
D6881A
D6882A
D6883N
D6884A ?

want to know about the onboard video capabilities due to the point that we are thinking of buying one for a grandsons birthday

he is 14 and plays (non-online) CDROM games

PS: what does "bump" mean that everyone uses on here
and #2 how do you private message on the forum here, never had to yet. Thanks

worked with vectra machines before - at $110 w/shipping that's pretty cheap - - but remember if upgrading to w98, ME, W2k or XP make sure you have good drivers for everything before you start because you won't find them on the HP site (except for winnt) so saving all the hp info on the drive and/or installing over w95 is usually a better bet - I think that onboard video is supported under just about all of them.

I learned the hard way - fdisked and formatted the drive (fat 32 since mine was fat16 w/95) and lost all the info on the machine, etc. - you can always convert to fat 32 later?

djd_201 You have mail

and

The win95 video driver found on the hp website works very well with win98. I've also installed mandrake 8.1 on a couple of the machines without any problems with hardware compatability.

Look, he said $110. That means $110 and thats that. Stop trying to Low-Ball him on the price. These machines are worth what he is asking, if not a little more.

I still have more if people are intested. But the price remains at $110
