cpu damage?

hi, i'd like to know if my motherboard and/or any oter components could be damaged in the long run, because my cpu seems to be scracthed , the small blue chip in the middle of my cpu seems to have a silver-metal like layer exposed to the surface. could this be a threat.
and will my motherboard get damaged if my cpu overheats

the scratch should be no problem.

Bu keeping your CPU cool is, some times when a CPU goes down it can take the Mobo with it. so just make sure your cooler is working properly with a good thermal paste between the CPU and the Cooler.
