I have problems with the video overlay in Windows XP with my video overlay controls. They are grayed out and I am unable to adjust the settings.
If anyone knows why this happens and if you know how to fix it, please help me.

Could you be more specific? What do you mean by video overlay? Where are these settings found?

The options are located in the display properties > settings tab > advanced options > geforce 2 mx/mx400 tab > additional properties > overlay controls.
Like I said already, all of these sliders and buttons are grayed out...and I would appricate any help anyone can give me.

You may need to have your secondary display attached and set up first. Is it the model with TV out? That's what the overlay controls are usually for. My MX400 is the same way.

i was able to change the overlay settings for my primary display to brighten videos in win2k, but i am unable to in winxp, which i dont understand...

Ah, I see what you're saying. Are you using the drivers shipped with the card, or the ones from Nvidia's site?

Worked fine in Win98se but not in XP....

I have the same problem to, I use RivaTuner and it allows me to do it, Thanks again Bill:D
