I'm not sure how to put this, except very bluntly, since I am a tad bit angry right now. I am Currently useing windows XP Pro. half-Life is the only Sierra game I have on my system. I was haveing problems with Half-Life, so I went to uninstall it, wich went smoothly, and well. I then saw down the list, the Sierra Tools/utilities uninstall, so I decided to uninstall it, and be as thorough as possible, so I could re-install the game. Well I got done installing Sierra Tools, and got back to my desktop, and to my surprise, I had icons that looked like nothing was associated with them. I tried a few and sure enough it couldn't find the game. When I went to search for the folder, it was nowhere to be found. I then thought I might have a virus, so I went to start nortons Antivirus 2002, well guess what?, there IS no Nortons Antivirus folder. Upon further searching through my Hard Drive, I found quite a few things missing or not there at all. The only thing I have done was un-install Sierra Tools/utilities. What I wanna know.....is this bug going to be fixed? and if there IS a fix, what is it? If there is no fix, when IS there going to be a fix? Because of this bug, I NOW have to format, and start from scratch again. If Sierra claims this is not a bug, why is it I have heard, from numerous people that they to had the exact same problem, and one person even told me it was an article in a magazine he had read. I will look forward to seeing a fix, or a solution to this, if not, then I am done with Sierra completely. I'm sure that may not bother you to much, as I am only 1 person, but I will do my best, and in all my power to tell anyone and everyone that has a sierra game, that Sierra refuses to see this bug as an issue, and refuses to fix it, that's IF they do not direct attention to this very annoying and hazerdous bug/glitch.

I have given Sierra a week to reply, and still nothing. Some have the problem, some do not, but I am one of the few that HAS had the problem. The problem IS there, and I have talked to a few that HAVE had this problem, so it's not just me, and no it's not and XP or a 98se thing, I have had this issue in both 98se and XP. Pretty sad when a company can take your money, yet not adress issues or reply to you. I guess it's the old "well we've got your money, your SOL(in case you do not know what SOL means, well, use your imagination), now" type of thing.
Nice job Sierra. Way to support your customers and back your games.
This looks like good support to me....NOT!
This is just the kind of support I was looking for in a company....NOT!

Well, I hear ya.

I don't like Sierra anyways, they don't have any good flight simulation games.

Yeah, but haveing to format, becasue of a simple add/remove of thier program? that's BS. I add/remove a program, and get back to the desktop, and find all my stuff messed up or gone, most of it the folders are even gone, what kinda **** is that!
Just aggrevateing is all.
Of corse they already got my cash, so why should they care.
And they wonder why people warez so **** much, well I wonder with all this fantastic tech support we're getting. Spend cash on a program, and for what? support the company? why, they don't support me. This is the second game I've gotten burned on. YES I did buy it. YES it is legit.

I have had the same thing happen. It deleted all contents of my c:\games directory when uninstalled. I never reinstalled half-life and haven't played it once on any machine since.
