I need to know how ti remove the Win 95 splash screen during system startup, after I have upgraded to Win 98. It is the very first start up screen and later the correct splash screen is displayed Win 98. Alo how do I remove the password box that comes up at every startup asking for password for a user? There is no users identified in the user section of Control panel ther. The setting say that all people can use system with one setting! Thanks fred

First, delete (or rename) the logo.sys file found in c:\ to get rid of the 95 screen.
Second, open Networking in control panel, and make sure that MS Family logon is default.
