Hello everyone. I'm a newbie to this particular board,(not to PC's though..) and I'm kinda in a bind.
I purchased the above scanner about a week ago, and it worked great under Win98.
I installed a new Hard drive with a full version of WinME a few days ago.
I get a "Scanner or Scanner handler error"
popup when choosing a destination to scan to, and it will open the chosen destination, but this message appears, and it won't scan. Yes, I even went to Epson's website and downloaded the latest TWAIN undate for WinME. I followed the directions carefully, and went through the uninstall procedure to start fresh again. Still no go. PlugNPlay should automatically regconize it, which it does, but I don't think the install is going correctly.
Any ideas would be most appreciated, before I box this thing up and return it.I really liked it's performance. Thanks to all..
