does anyone out there know where you can get a directory on all viruses and how you can detect them. For example the new klez virus, detected by the wink.xxx file in your startup menu. Can most be detected or are they hidden. If there is a directory out there, I sure would like to have it.

I worked on frinds computer last week which had the Klez. virus, I just ran the online virus scan from 'housecall' and that identified it. The virtus did shut that program down the first time I tried to run it but it worked the 2nd time. Downloaded a program from Symantec which got rid of the virus, unfortunately the system was irrepairably damaged and I had to fdisc and reinstall.
