I am having a problem getting the SuSE Linux Live Evaluation CD to work on my PC. It is supposed to install 3 files on my hard drive, then run everything from the CD ROM. When I try to install it as the directions say, it begins, but then gives a message: "Found no usable partition. Your data will not be saved." The installation continues for a while then the computer hangs and I have to reboot. I have a Dell dimension 4300 with a 40GIG HDD - It has LOTS of space available.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
Thanks!:t

You may have lots of space available to Windows, but you have ZERO bytes available to Linux.

Linus uses a NON-DOS Linux partition format. You can cut off a portion of the Windows partition using Partition Magic then convert it to Linux to use with SuSE.
