Is there that much different in the dma 66 and the 100 thats my hold up right now.As after ready alot i think its really just a coin flip away. Someone please help me to decide before i go crazy as to which way to go a board that supports dma 66 are 100

ATA/100 over ATA/66 offers much more speed improvement than ATA/66 over ATA/33, if this what you want to hear, get some IBM Deskstar ATA/100 for this and you won't regret (I don't ...)

If it's any use

The Asus is the mother board of choice for the better quality Home based systems I biuld for resale, the middle range being Abit or Micro Star, low end Jetway, Soyo or Elite.

if other OEM's posted their choices it might help you decide.

All three are good brands. I'd go for the board with the latest chipset, supporting ATA100. That way your date of obsolescence will be in March instead of February. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Go for the Asus if you don't overclock, take the Abit if you do.The EpoX might be good, but the other 2 are better.

The second choice you have to make is wether you want RAID or not (second IDE controller),to be able to connect 8 IDE devices on your mainboard.
