I have 2 questions:
1.Can I do a clean install using the Windows 95 upgrade? If so describe the qulification check to me.
2. I have like 5 different maunals and 1 full product CD. How can I tell which key goes to it?
Thanxs:confused:

1. Why are wanting to use this old horse? Most machines will run win98SE and it is still supported and run the latest stuff. I don't think an upgrade CD will allow you to install from scratch.
2. The manuals will have different keys, but if they are all for Win95 it doesn't matter. The CD isn't tied to the manual, it simply uses some calculation to check the key is acceptable.

The best way to reinstall 95 is to a clean disk. But the upgrade looks for 3.x before it will install. Here're a few workarounds for that problem. (http://www.netpathway.com/~kramer/win95upgrade.html)

Most Windows OS installs will work with ANY valid CD key.
Try them all (it doesn't hurt) and make sure you type them in using CAPS and NO CAPs to see which way works.
