When I hit the turn off button in Windows it restarts instead of shutting down. Any ideas where I might look to correct this? OS is XP Home.

Thanks, Don

hey do you have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.0 installed then there is an issue with this software with XP home/pro

Try this solution from Microsoft's support Site (http://support.microsoft.com/search/preview.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q311806)

there was a similar post earlier with shutdown problems in XP...i can't recall the post though... the person found out that it was Roxio the main culprit.

I found something about using Roxio Easy CD Creator causing problems like this for other people. It hasn't happened to me though. Maybe this link will help...
