Hello ,

I get this weird message "Floppy disk controller failer code (80)" and in windows 98, it says that there are not enough I/O resources availble. Ok, if its hte OS then why i get this at BIOS test. please please help. is it just the floppy drive or my motherboard has died?

Try disabling it in the bios and see if it boots up..;)

If it does I would try a new floppy drive.

Is the floppy drive cable upside down. Did you make any changes in you comp just before it happened, it could be a loose cable.
