Renegade problems

Hello
Man i'm getting sick of this.
I want to play renegade, but as i start, or load the first level everyone falls down, and when i move i die. :eek:
This also happens when i play the 3rd level.
I didn't install this game, my friend gave me his HD, and i copyed it from there.

Did you try reinstalling that legal copy that you own?;) It sounds wierd. I think your friend may have been using a cheat or something. I don't think it's a hardware problem, but if it's just copied over, and not installed, then there is no entry for it in the registry, so therefore windows (I assume) isn't recognizing it. You're solution stands somwhere in your post, I believe. Try the reinstall, if possible.

I went to a network game once and one of my freinds didn't have the game. I lent him my backup play CD but had left the install CD at home.
What I did was copied my directory across to his, removed the data\config folder and copied my registry entries with suitable changes for drive and folder locations. It worked spot on.

Just save your saved game file and re-install it. All that moving is bound to screw u somthing. Just re-install
