Ok I know when you use Rambus, you run them in pairs (128X128)etc but can you run the pair but at different Mb like(128X256)etc?
RimmB2 = C-Rimm
RimmB1 = 128RDRAM
RimmA2 = C-Rimm
RimmA1 = 128RDRAM or 256RDRAM
I have an Asuse P4T-E

It's not the RAMBUS that requires pairs, but the i850 chipset. Intel's old i820 RAMBUS chipset for the PIII ran just fine on single RIMMS.
Having said that, the i850 chipset requires that the two memory channels be populated with the same size RIMMS. In a best case scenario the system would work like a RAID 0 Stripe set with two different sized HDs and you'd just lose the extra capacity. More likely it wouldn't even POST properly.
You need matched pairs.
