Ok, here it is.... It is not completly done, it's still under some construction.. I'm NO web designer, just something I'm trying to get some hands-on-expererience on....

It's not tended for 56k modem users, sorry. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif The part of the country that I'm in now, over 80% use cable or DSL because it's cheaper to use cable modem than using Dial-Up modems. Dial-modem users have to pay according to the time they stay on line. It's roughly about 6 cents a minute... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif Therefore, this site is rather heavy to load for dial-up modems. Just tell me what you think of the site. Thank you! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Please view the site at 1024x768
http://www.mathworld.co.kr

BTW, one more thing I'd like to apologize about.... The sites not in English.... Just press the left part after the splash page that says "sample" to see what the sites all about! Thanks again. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Cool stuff NDC. I like it. . . but also have some constructive critism. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif ...

The continuously running title graphics on the
index2 page (http://www.mathworld.co.kr/index2.html) get real annoying real fast. I think it'd look cool if the graphics "slide" into place and then stayed there instead of looping the slide over & over.

Also, the Neowave Smart Teacher Player thing doesn't function at all in Netscape. Worked fine in IE however.

The music that starts when you first hit the main page also doesn't work in Netscape.

(btw, I like your movie posters pages. Have you seen them all?)

Superb, that's what I thought NDC. I like the color scheme plus the simplicity, very professional. Lots of sites I find have too much content which seems to make the page too busy or confusing. Pages loaded fast (I'm on cable). I looked at the samples and the other pages too, it all seemed to work well, except for pages that were looking for specific fonts like you said. Two pages needed a plug in which it installed and then the pages and examples loaded.
very neat job. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Thanks OP and Biff... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

As for the looping of the animated top frame, I increased the loop time to about 13 seconds interval, so I think that should make it a bit less anoying for some viewers.

As for Smart Teacher not working on other browsers other than IE, Yes, I know. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif The company that makes the program "NeoWave Smart Teacher" made the program so that it will function as a plug-in for IE so unfortunatley, there isn't really much I can do about that issue. The program was originally made to run on NT or Win2K server using ASP... But I'm runnning Linux Red Hat and had to alter the ASP to PHP server scripts to make the plug-in work. It appears that Neowave is still on the works to make it compatible on all server & browser platforms.

Please keep more feedbacks coming! Thank you! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

i'm not sure if anyone else had this but when the smart teacher pops up..it is the right size vertical and horizontal.but it loaded about 1 cm to the right.the x was covered, had to manually move entire window.then it fits perfect.

Looks nice and clean, loads fast on this side of the world on cable http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
Looks like it should load pretty quick on modem.
Dunno what I was looking at or where I was going but all links seemed to work and the Banner anim. timing seems OK now

I agree, great site. Only problem is it is not in English. change that and all will be well. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Actually, I found the site very appealing except for the constantly running flash or animated gifs on the left side. Other than that it is a superb design.

NDC,

One thing I noticed this morning is that on my system that I run my monitor at 1600x1200 the page is not "centered" like it is when I view the page at the "recommended" 1024x768 like I did on my TFT screen last night. I'm pretty sure that there is a "code" for HTML to make it auto center/strech the page to make it balanced if a visitor is using a larger screen resolution.

Other than that I enjoy the pages (including the "hidden" NDC site http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif )

Yeah, I know... The reason that it doesn't center on 1600x1200 is because I didn't design the page using tables because not too many people set their display settings over 1280x1024. If you view the page at 1280x1024 the page will not repeat itself, it will just stretch further out to the right of the screen rather than the background repeat itself..

I think it looks just great, NDC. The color and design is vivid, artistic and eyegrabbing, yet not overdone.

And I like the Crocodile "error" pic too, that's a cool touch. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Hi NDC - you know what I think of the site. I introduced our Pastor (Mok-sa-nim) to the site and he was very impressed (also has DSL). Like me, he was curious as to where he can purchase ST so that he might create religious lessons..

BTW - what would you think of a yeong-o-reul pae-oo-nun site of a similar structure? It could gain subscriptions world wide -- kat-chi hal-ka? -not that you would need me, of course - something along the lines of Min, Byung Chul's Saeng-whal Yeong-o but using Smart Teacher.

That's a great idea to do a lecture on religious subjects! To be honest with you, there are many major corporations using Neowave to present their on-line doumentations and lectures such as English, Stock, Techinical Support, etc.. You can use Neowave for anything you want! The background can be made by using any Image Editor such as Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, Windows Paint, etc... I made the chalkboard background using Photoshop 6 to make it look like a lecture was being done on a school chalkboard. You can place any images you want for the background. As for the price of he program, it's quite steep depending on the version you want to purchase. There are 4 versions:

1) Download (Client side must download LEC file and LEC player) You can also make CDROM's to distribute to clients.

2) Download with IE plug-in (A player will not be necessary since LEC file will play in the IE window. (The player comes with ST as an option)

3) Streaming (This is the version I am using which has options to download and play in IE or stream the LEC file to IE...

4) Has all the options as the above but also has the feature to do LIVE communication or lecture on a small caption screen on the right of the screen that will show the person talking...

BTW, YGM. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
