Down server is a great command tho.:D fancyf 05-16-2002, 01:51 PM Yes exactly... if you don't have the admin rights then even if you open netadmin (dos) or NWAdmin (windows) you won't be able to LOAD nlm modules or change anything to the configuration of the server. The only way you could - if you are not admin - is if you would have been given the proper rights by the admin. If not then you have no "control" over NDS objects and server configs. DVNT1 05-16-2002, 03:42 PM NLMs typically are ran/started at the Netware console. Depending on the version of Netware, you can just type load getadmin.nlm (or whatever the NLM name is). You also must include the path to the NLM if it isn't in the search path (like sys:system). You could also schedule cron jobs to run the NLMs too. Netware isn't like Windows (more like Unix to me). There is a lot to know/understand. Unless you have you own copy of Netware to play with (like the free evaluation versions) then it may be difficult to learn/understand. Get a box to install it on you can have a single concurrent user access it without installing a license diskette. This would allow you the ablility to learn how it works. SysOpt.com
