How do I release the locks on a slot 1

How do I get the processor out of a slot 1? Are there locks? Where? do they push in, out, or some other way? This is an Abit BE6 motherboard.

It depends. Usually, you push out two small "wings" on either end and remove the crossbar. There are about 10 different mounts for slot 1 CPUs. Can you describe it?

On the BE6 locks. Towards the top of the brackets. There is a small slider. Just lift it up towards the top of the bracket. That will unlock the cpu cartridge.

slot 1 lock clip is in the middle or top of the guide push in or press in at the same time left/ right clip and the other type is to push out the clip to remove the cpu,visual check first .
