Would like to determine the specific NIC model on a Sun U60 running Solaris 7. The NIC is integrated into the Mobo and I am having some compatibility issues between it and a Cisco 6500 Switch.

Whoa! The heavy stuff! That has to be hard to do. Even if there was a Solaris command for IDing the NIC, it probably wouldn't tell you anything but the MAC address.
The case should have a model and serial number. You could then go to Sun and fetch the data on what is probably the only motherboard offered for that model.
What's in the Dev folder for it?
