Here is my setup:

P3 1.1 GHZ
Shuttle Av18e Motherboard with VIA 4 in 1 drivers installed...
640 MB SD RAM PC 133
LeadTEK GeForce 4 Ti4400 w/ 128 MB DDR Running nvidia 28.32 drivers...
-set at 345MHZ clock speed and 615 MHZ memory speed
Maxtor 18 gig
Win XP Home Editon
SB Live
Freshly Reformatted...

I run CS at 1024x768 (OPEN GL) with FSAA off and Ansiotrpic filtering off. I still get frame drops why is that? It should stick at 60fps with all that power ive got right? Even with a few people running around right? Any suggestions? I though the GeForce 4 was supposed to let me run FSAA without frame drops right?

Oh BTW : 3d Mark says I have agp 2x not 4x enabled arghhhh..!!!! whats up with that?

Please help!

Elliot

Frame drops or frame rate drops? Frame rate drops are normal. Frame drops can attributed to swap file activity or packet loss.

I can sum up your problems in three letters - VIA.

Did I ever mention that I loathe VIA?
