I purchased a 8.4gb IDE hd. Xcopy my scsi 1.0gb to it(after formatting large drive support). When I boot the 8.4gb it stops on the C: prompt. Bootlog txt shows only my drivers from config.sys .Whwn I single-step it never asks if I want to load registry. Can anyone point me in the right direction other than reloading Win95 on it? Thanks

damned boy !!!!!!!!!!
you need ghost to do this !!!!
xcopy cant handle the long file names !!!
so reformat the drive and install it new
or boot with the old drive and get norton ghost and copy the drives then
i have a image from a fresh install ready on
cd rom i can put that on the drive back in 10 minuites
thats handy!!!

this is the Win95 xcopy ticket, long file names and all:
C:\xcopy c:\*.* /e/h/k/r/c d:
transfer the system files sys d:last, after xcopy is done, though some swear that adding the /s switch will do this along with the xcopy, sometimes it didn't work for me that way.
