When I boot up my windows 98 computer how do I stop some of the programs starting up automatically?

There, by entering the startup screen, uncheck the program that are in the startup list and after restarting, they won't startup again. RayH 05-11-2002, 04:27 PM Get a freeware program called Startup Cop. One thing about Startup Cop is that you can have an icon on your desktop. Some programs, when used, will override the disable at start up and will launch at boot again. This allows you to check on them. SysOpt.com
