I'm having trouble running rc5. For some reason I keep getting the BSOD. It has a fatal error in "vxd ntkern(01)"
It only seems to happen when the client is running in the system tray.
I was running Sygate, but have since uninstalled it, and reinstalled the rc5 client. still happens http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif
When I went into display properties and enabled the dnetc screen saver, every time I click on the settings button, it crashes, and I have to use control alt delete to close the box.
I did install the screensaver multiplexor.
But it doesn't crash when the screen saver starts. Only after it has been running for a while.
Could it be possible that when it finishes with a packet, it tries to flush it, and causes the crash?

I am running on win 98
I'd appreciate ANY input that would help me figure this out.
Thanks
Bill

I bet it is a heat issue. RC5 runs your cpu at 100% and thus it is always at its highest temp. After time it could cause a BSOD if you do not have good cooling or if you are overclocking without great cooling.
