I like to use my computer to wake me up in the morning by setting the bios start-up time and then a windows scheduler task to run mp3s. The problem is I upgraded many things in my computer in the last few months, mainly the motherboard, and it wont ever turn itself on like it used to.
My system is:
500mhz Celeron
128mb ram
Geforce 2-mx
Asus Cuv4x mobo (4in1 v4.20 I think...)
mx300
win98se
One thing that I discovered before is that the computer had to still be kind of on for it to start up. Without it first being turned on, and then shut down properly, it never came on in the morning. So I think it simply isn't shutting itself down the way it used to.
