Pfft. The worst of both worlds. Servers (ok - Deskpros too) and printers are the only things that we can currently count on from these two companies. I don't see any good coming from this union. Already poor tech support will wither further.

Printers? Did you say we could count on printers???? Have you purchased or used any new HP printers lately? I have 2 Deskjet 900 series printers that have had to be replaced (one under warrenty the other just out of warrenty) because there was so much ink spray built up inside the printers the cartridge would not move and even if it did the sensors wouldn't work because they were coated also.

You might ask...why didn't you clean them before they got like that? Good question, the obvious answer is that who has time to go around checking "NEW" printers to see if they are clean or not. The oldest one was only a 2 weeks past its year warrenty and the other was only 6 months old.

One of the replacements that HP sent was broke right out of the box!!!

The replacements are now less than 4 months old and are already needing cleaned. I have a K80 fax machine that is the same way.

What in the world is up with that?!?! I have several older HP deskjets that are running like champs. Seems to me that HP has a flaw somewhere.

Unless someone can prove to me that they have fixed this problem, I will not buy another HP product.

My humble Opinion

Actually, I meant laser printers. I don't think I'd buy a new HP inkjet either.
