I posted here a thread asking for your opinion about a specific mobo

http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=105234

but now, I find my self in a dead end searching for compatible coolers...
Vulcano 7 from Thermaltake was my choice until I realize the mobo can't handle it! Vulcano 7 consumes ~0.5A, while the board is only able to suply 0.35A (thank goodness I do a little research or I would be doomed...).
Can anyone give me a boost in finding a cooler with the same specs than the V7, consuming less than the max supplied by the mobo?
Sorry for posting a new thread, even not being directly the same subject, but I figured this would catch more attention...
Thanks

Your mobo can handle the V7... If I remember correctly it comes with two connectors... The connector that goes to your mobo is strictly to monitor the fan speed, it doesn't actually draw any juice... There is a seperate connector for the actual power that hooks up to your standard 4pin power taps coming from ur powersupply.

yup you remembered right, your should really always plug your fans into the PSU anyway.

Also, if you choose a different HSF, there is an RPM cable for purchase I believe at Sidewinder Computers. Good obviously to supply the HSF with PSU juice AND it splits off to the Mobo for RPM monitoring. Not too pricey either.
