MS Flight Sim 2000 unresponsive in XP.

I've just installed Flight Sim 2000 in Windows XP and find that the controls of the Aircraft are really unresponsive!

I have the game installed on a PIII 550, with 256MB RAM, and GeForce 2 64MB I've got over 11 GIG of free disk space, so no problems there.

Whats weird is that I used to have the game installed under Windows ME on the same computer with an old Banshee 16MB Graphics Card and it ran smoothly!

I've since tried the game on the old graphics card under XP and get the same problem.

A friend of mine has also experienced the same problem in similar circumstances...Is Flight Sim 2000 (a microsoft product) incompatible with Microsoft Windows XP?

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

Have you tried the XP program compatability wizard? Supposed to make 95/98 programs compatable w/XP - but I haven't had much luck with my older programs.

Go to start/programs/accessories/program compatability wizard.

Let's hear how you make out.

The compatibility wizard won't do much I don't think, because flight simulator 2000 will run under XP just great. I had it running on a PII300MHz with windows XP and it ran great. Have you check the settings on it? Check to see if the synsitivity is set real low.
