I would appreciate your help in locating a manual for the K7V M.B.
I will gladly buy one or download one. Asus has the manual listed but no manual to down load. I have looked every where I can think to look. Your help would be much appreciated.
When I bought the manual on ebay the ad listed manual & CD came wisth the M.B. I thank you, Ellis

Hi BipolarBill, thanks for trying to help but that dosen't work either. I have tried everthing and nothing works. Half the time my compute freezes and I have to reboot while waiting and waiting for the down load. I don't think the manual is there. Something is wrong. If you can think of anything please let me know.
Sorry that I forgot to put the name, Asus, before the K7V on my letter. Best regards, Ellis

What are you talking about? I'm looking right at the manual.
Try this one:
ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/asus/mb/slota/k7v/k7v-101.pdf
Use a different browser if you must. Have someone else download it for you. It's 5MB.

BipolarBill, I cannost answer that as I am looking, and have looked at it a 1000 times, but I only get a white screen or my computer freezers up. I can down load several other files from the page but not the manual. Several people have been nice enough to give me address's for the manual but for some reason none work. I will do as you suggested and ask some one else to try and download it for me. I will let you know what happens.
Thank you, Ellis

Try using Opera, Mozilla or Netscape. Also try right-clicking the link and selecting Save Target As. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it.

BipolarBill, I thank you, thank you, etc. The changing from Internet Explorer to Opera worked. First I tried "Save Target As", no go. Then I tried MSN Explorer 6 and that did not work so I downloaded Opera and the manual showed up at once. You can not imagine how much time I spent trying to find a way to get the manual with I.E. Well, at least you will have me out of your hair
for a while. Again thank you and Best Regards, Ellis

You should try repairing IE6 as soon as you can. It's in Add/Remove Programs > Internet Explorer (unless you have XP).
