Not directly, but would suggest checking out some reviews since the Geforce 4 MX 420 uses sdram and has very limited memory bandwidth (about like a Geforce 2MX ). For the money, I believe you can get a much better performing card. How much are they asking for the GF4MX420? I think even a Geforce 2 Ti will outperform one.

Evne the Geforce 3 ti 200 will outperform them. I don reccomend getting on. They are like a Geforce 2 really. They dont even have direct x 8.0 support. Just look at madonions list fo the top 10 video card out there. Even the Geforce 2 Ultar beats the MX 420.

1. NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600

2. NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4400

3. ATI Radeon 8500

4. NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 500

5. NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 200

6. NVIDIA GeForce3

7. NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440

8. ATI Radeon 7500

9. NVIDIA GeForce2 Ultra

10. NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420

I have a friend who bought it and he loves it... It works great and he play's everything just fine, but it's not as powerful as the GTS 2 Ultra nor is it a Radeon8500. But he say's it's worth having in a great system. He did say he prefers his brothers Radeon8500 much better after seeing both of them in action and DVD.
If he had to choose agains he's spends the extra Hundred and get the Radeon8500 Retail.

I bought a Visiontek MX420, it was OK, it will run most games, but for the new ones, it just doent cut it, so I replaced it two weeks after I bought it, of course I couldnt return it, so I kept it, the card on my ratings list is overall 4/10, it has low memory bandwidth, low memory speeds, and a weak GPU (GeForce2 on overdrive, essentially), so I wouldnt recommend it. Instead what I would recommend is a GeForce3 Ti200 or the original GF3, they cost around $110 - $140.

The DDR version of the GeForce4MX is the MX440.

My friend is getting a GF4 MX because he thinks it is a good card. I am trying desperately to talk him out of it and into a gf3 ti200 but he wont listen... anyone know of a website that compares the gf4 mx to the gf3 series?
