Best detonator drivers?

Okay, I've been running the 23.12s for somtime now and used them on my gf2 mx, gf2 pro and gf3 ti200 because they are the fastest I've come accross so far.

I recenty gave the 27.42 and 28.90 detonator drivers a go and managed to loose between 600 to 800 points in 3DMark 2001se (or around 20 fps?) with identical settings. But the 27.xx looks better....

I just wondered if there were any other drivers that were as fast, or nearly as fast as the 23.xx s but gave a better visual quality on the geforce 3.

try the 29.20 they are very good.

theres notting like trail and error ;) i just got done testing both the v29.20 and the v28.90 drivers on my system . i ran both of them w/ 3DMark2001 SE and looped it for 2 hrs to see if they were stable on my machine . then i ran it again 3 times w/ each version to get a averge and found that w/ the v29.20 i got a extra 15 points w/ the v28.90 they were about the same as v28.32 .

Yeah, I think all in all I've had the 14.xx?, 21.81?, 23.11 , 23.12, 27.42, 28.32, 28.90... I just liked the massive speed boost that the 23.xx drivers give which is always handy since my system only has 512meg PC133 ram and a 1.2gig (oc/) cele... Everything at the moment revolves around squeezing the most speed out of my comp without having to buy more hardware.
Natch, the geforce 2 pro and the 3 ti200 were warranty voided after about 5 mins of having them as new ram sinks and fans were epoxyed to them ^-^...


[edit..] using 3DMark 2001se (average scores and standard card settings) iirc, from

21.81 to 23.11 = + 400 marks
23.11 to 23.12 = no change
23.12 to 27.42 = - 400 marks
23.12 to 28.32 = - 400 marks
23.12 to 28.90 = - 500/600 marks

but a friend of mine said he tried the 28.32 and the 23.11 drivers and he got about the same scores. ?? He has the same card and system ram, but a 1gig AMD cpu...
